After several months of operating at Kijabe, I am starting to feel comfortable with the setup, the equipment, and the process. I have made a few videos during operations so you all can see what it’s like. Enjoy 🙂
This week, I performed my second combination case with Dr. Benjamin Mutiso at AIC-Kijabe Hospital. Providing advanced surgical care in Kenya for people that would otherwise be left suffering is a joy and privilege. Thank you to everyone who has helped us get here. God is really using Kijabe Hospital to heal the sick, bring sight to the blind, let the lame walk, and spread the good news of the Gospel to the poor of East Africa.
Thyroidectomy is a common surgery around the world, yet many hospitals lack the equipment, supplies, and training to perform the surgery safely. Over 5 billion people in the world lack access to safe and affordable healthcare. The Pan-African Academy of Christian Surgeons helps train African surgeons who stay in Africa to serve the poor around the continent.
