Warm greetings to you and your family during this holiday season! We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with friends and family. We have a lot to be thankful for this year! We arrived in the US at the end of November and were able to attend my brother’s wedding. It was an honor and joy to stand beside them as they said their vows.

We have good news about the Kijabe Children’s library! The space is completely renovated and ready for books! It is clean, comfortable and beautiful, it will be such a nice place for children to come enjoy. The books are on the container and headed to Kenya. It will be a couple months before the container reaches port and we will hire a courier to transport the boxes of books to Kijabe. Please continue to pray that they arrive without any difficulties.

We wanted to share a few things that we are thankful for this year.
- We are thankful for family; what a joy it is to be together this time of year. It was a blessing to see so many members of my extended family at the wedding and we look forward to spending the holidays with grandparents and cousins.
- We are thankful for our health and safety. The Lord has blessed us with a wonderful community in Kijabe to raise our children and we are reminded on a daily basis what a blessing it is that they are all healthy and happy.
- We are thankful for all those near and far who are supporting us with their encouraging words, prayers, and donations. We have been so surprised seeing friends from long ago who have said, “I’ve been following along with you online!” It is heartwarming knowing so many are keeping us in their thoughts and prayers.
- We are thankful for technology that allows us to easily connect, no matter where we are in the world. Being far from family is definitely the hardest part of living abroad, but video calls and WhatsApp messages bring us together.
- We are thankful for the hope we have in Jesus. We have the honor to serve our Lord and share the good news with His children far and wide. We are grateful for the love He has for us and for all His children.
Here’s a few highlights from our time with family in the US.
